BPH stands for Dog Behavior Profile and is a description of a dog’s reactions and behaviors in various situations—a way to get to know your dog better.
During a BPH, the dog goes through a series of standardized situations (e.g., strangers, sudden noises, and handling), and the evaluator notes how the dog reacts.
The BPH is open to all dogs, regardless of breed or age (at SKK-affiliated clubs), and is often conducted by kennel clubs and breed clubs.
Dogs that have completed the BPH usually receive a “BPH Completed” rosette. We offer a “BPH Completed” rosette (orange/black, 3 wreaths—32 SEK each and up) as well as a BPH petal/star variant. See the full selection → Dog Rosettes.
