Obedience Competitions – Which Ribbons Do You Need?

Obedience Competitions – What Ribbons Do You Need?
Obedience is one of the oldest and most classic dog sports, based on precision, cooperation, and obedience. Here’s what you need to know to award the right ribbons at an obedience competition.
How does obedience work?
The dog and handler perform a routine consisting of exercises such as down-stay, recall, heel work, and various other commands. Competitions are often divided into classes based on difficulty.
What rosettes do you need?
- Placement rosettes (1st–4th) per class.
- Obedience Diploma (LD) —for teams that complete the test.
- Obedience Champion rosettes—for higher honors.
We carry ready-made LD rosettes (red/yellow/black, 3 wreaths—32 SEK each), LD Starter Class, and Obedience Champion (black/red/yellow). See the full selection → Dog Rosettes.
